GLOSSARY TERM
"six seven"
A viral phrase (also written "6 7" or "67") that exploded in 2025 and was named 2025's Word of the Year by Dictionary.com. It comes from a rap song referencing basketball player LaMelo Ball's height (6'7"), but it has no real meaning anymore — kids just shout it, often while raising their palms up and down like they're weighing two options. If your kid yells it at you, they're not trying to say anything specific.
Example
"My kid just yelled "six seven" at me for no reason again."
Plain-English swap
"an attention-grabbing nonsense phrase"
